Взаимоотношения между Pizza Hut и аниме. Наверно, самая милая история продактплейсмента
Продактплейсмент в аниме — не редкое явление, хотя и не такое частое, как могло бы быть. Пока одни аниме используют измененные бренды и показывают на экране некие Bepsi, Vony или WcDonald’s другие не стесняются называть вещи своими именами, по той простой причине, что рекламодатели занесли создателям аниме денег. Наверно, самая известная внутренняя реклама в аниме — это Pizza Hut, которую, я уверен, вы не один раз видели в том или ином тайтле. Однако причина, по которой Pizza Hut так часто появляется в аниме довольно занятная, ибо это скорее было делом случая. Давайте поговорим о самой милой коллаборации в аниме, которая в итоге переросла в одну из самых масштабных внутренних реклам в индустрии — про аниме и Pizza Hut.

Я уверен, вы не раз замечали это огромное лого с красной шапкой, которое то и дело появляется, то тут, то там. Возможно, даже стали воспринимать это как какую-то традицию. Дело куда проще — деньги. Уже не первый год данный бренд спонсирует разные тайтлы, тесно связав свою маркетинговую историю вместе с аниме на протяжении последних 15 лет.
Скорее всего, впервые реклама Pizza Hut появилась в Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence, который вышел в 2004 году. Сотрудничество было достаточно плотным и в титрах данный бренд указан как «оказавший специальную поддержку при создании». И это с тем учетом, что само лого бренда толком и не появляется в аниме. Куда более значимая коллаборация произошла у бренда с первой экранизацией Fullmetal Alchemist в 2005 году, однако это достаточно забавная рекламная кампания, о которой нужно говорить отдельно.
Самая значимая же реклама, которая и открыла отделу маркетинга глаза и направила бренд на тот путь, который у них есть сегодня — это Gode Geass. Рекламу пиццерии можно найти повсюду во всем аниме: она есть на улицах, в общественном транспорте, коробки с пиццей можно встретить в школе главных героев, а уж тем более на фестивалях. А один персонаж однажды вообще приехал на мотоцикле обклеенным рекламой сего заведения. Ну, а Сиси так вообще уплетает одну за одной пиццу данного бренда на протяжении всего аниме с таким упорством, как будто этого персонажа создали исключительно потому, что Pizza Hut заплатили студии Sunrise.
Любовь Сиси к этой пицце даже больше, чем вам может показаться. Если вы думали, что коллекционирование ею скидочных купонов — уже вершина ее чувств, то нет. Помните большую плюшевую игрушку, которую часто она обнимает, пока тоскует в комнате Лелуша? Так вот это ни что иное, как маскот Pizza Hut.
И если вас не удивляет один только этот факт, что если я скажу, что такая обильная реклама появилась случайно?
Пока я искал данную информацию, наткнулся на то, что все ссылаются на японский журнал Continue, который пообщался с одним из менеджеров Pizza Hut после успеха рекламной компании с Code Geass.
Как он рассказал, сама по себе идея пришла ему после того как он узнал, что другой японский бренд Pizza-La вступил в интеграцию с Eureka 7, заплатив, чтобы их пиццу показали на экране аниме. Pizza Hut обратились к Sunrise и заплатили за рекламу, чтобы логотип их бренда показали в кадре 3-4 раза. Однако аниматорам просто понравилось ради шутки вставлять их логотип по всему аниме куда только можно. Просто потому что это казалось смешным. Поэтому большая часть всей рекламы в Gode Geass не проплачена, а присутствует из-за специфического юмора создателей.
Проблема этой красивой истории в том, что подтверждение ей найти сложно. Как минимум в самой сети мне не удалось найти ссылки на данное интервью, и как отмечают в фэндоме, отыскать его сложнее, чем Святой Грааль. Возможно, так сложилось по двум причинам. Во-первых, Continue — это японский журнал с иероглифами. Во-вторых, есть вероятность, что у него просто никогда не было электронной версии.
В правдоподобность данной истории поверить можно, ибо, чтобы вставить такое обилие рекламы, вероятно, бренд должен был владеть самой студией, однако это не так, а в титрах Pizza Hut упоминается просто как компания по сотрудничеству.
Как бы то ни было, факт остается фактом и после появления бренда в Code Geass его популярность возросла до огромных масштабов, а сама Pizza Hut решила, что будет сотрудничать с разными аниме студиями и предлагать рекламировать их бренд в аниме. Так, у них есть коллаборация с такими аниме как Attack on Titan, Love Life, Fate/ Stay Night, Monogatari, Evangelion, OreImo… Перечислять можно долго.
С некоторыми аниме они ограничиваются либо рекламными коробками с пиццей или тематической рекламой. С другими же, как в случае с Love Life, разворачивают огромную рекламную кампанию: украшают транспорт курьеров сети героинями из сериала, а также устраивают шоу, где актрисы озвучки аниме придумывают свои собственные дизайны пиццы.
Отдельно, стоит поговорить про рекламную кампанию, связанную с Fullmetal Alchemist.
Самая грустная дакимакура в мире
У Pizza Hut было две коллаборации с Fullmetal Alchemist: во времена выхода полнометражного фильма «Завоеватель Шамбалы» 2005-го и во время выхода Brotherhood в 2009-том. Специально к выходу Brotherhood была подготовлена интеграция, где Эд и Уинри уплетают за обе щеки пиццу от сами знаете какого бренда, а Альфонс с интересом наблюдает за ними. Видимо, чтобы потом занести в свой список того, что ему нужно обязательно попробовать, когда он вернет свое тело…
Однако данная рекламная компания просто не может сравниться по абсурдности с тем, что было в 2005 году. Так, когда на экраны выходило официальное завершение первой экранизации, где рассказывалось о том, как Эдвард и Альфонс смогли встретиться, Pizza Hut развернули рекламную компанию, где люди могли собирать специальные ваучеры с покупок пиццы и отправлять их по почте, чтобы иметь возможность выиграть один из трех главных призов.
Первый весьма безобидный — это тематические настольные часы с Эдом и Алом. Второй уже куда интересней — это дакимакура с Эдвардом. Что в вашем понимании дакимакура? Потому что в понимании авторов рекламной компании это полностью одетый грустный персонаж. Ну и главный приз — трое счастливчиков могли заполучить полноразмерные доспехи Альфонса. В описании было даже специально указано, что они декоративные и их нельзя использовать для сражения.
Увы, рекламная компания OVA ограничилась только специальным артом, и подобного розыгрыша уже не было. Ну, а популярность и новый уровень отношений к бренду появился все равно позже. В любом случае сегодня это один из самых известных рекламодателей в аниме.
