Многих геймеров ужасно раздражают прицелы в шутерах. Иногда они слишком маленькие, большие или вообще непригодные для использования. В некоторых играх предусмотрена возможность выбора прицела, но таких игр немного. В остальных случаях может помочь утилита CrossOver, которая недавно вышла из режима «бета». Её уже протестировали журналисты издания Ghacks.net.
CrossOver — это программа с открытым исходным кодом, которая доступна для Windows, macOS и Linux. Она не задействует много ресурсов, поэтому геймерам не стоит переживать за снижение fps в играх. Утилита очень простая в использовании, а настроек не так много, чтобы в них запутаться. Главная её особенность в том, что она позволяет сделать наложение на прицел, что упрощает прицеливание на фоне множества других графических элементов.
При запуске программы отображается маленькое полупрозрачное окно с прицелом и четырьмя кнопками в каждом углу. Нажав на него, можно перетащить поле, чтобы изменить положение. Подложка для прицела отключается сочетанием клавиш Ctrl + Shift + Alt + X. CrossOver не работает со всеми играми, в некоторых случаях придётся выйти из полноэкранного в оконный режим для настройки прицела. Программа предлагает на выбор десятки шаблонов разных форм и размеров. Можно также поменять цвет и прозрачность прицела. Сбросить настройки можно сочетанием клавиш Ctrl + Alt + Shift + R.

How to activate HudSight?
Just purchase the license and you’ll get the code to your email right after your order is completed. Click to the activation button in the main software window or in the trial window and enter your code. Please note, the program requires access to the hudsight.com server to activate itself.
Will I get banned for this software?
HudSight is not a cheat, it doesn’t change games files or game play, it just draws an overlay (like Steam or Origin services or some other tools). But please make sure that the Terms of Service of a game you play do not deny such enhancement. For example, PunkBuster anti-cheat service gave manual bans for the screenshots of custom crosshairs in old Battlefield 2 and 2142 games.

First make sure your Color Mask in the program settings has non-zero Alpha value (transparency). Full opaque = 255, full transparency = 0.
Some games require a few additional actions to get visible overlay. If this list doesn’t help you, please send a message to support from our web site https://hudsight.com or in this community.
It is not possible to get overlays working with Destiny 2, because game developers use their own special anti-cheat which has a very short white list and we’re not in this list.

Unfortunately, R6 devs are blocking 3rd party Vulkan layers (we use our own layer to draw overlays in Vulkan-powered games). But there is a workaround to make our layer «eligible» 🙂

Then open playclawvk64.json in any text editor, find the «name» parameter and change its default value from «VK_LAYER_playclaw» to «VK_LAYER_RENDERDOC_Capture», save the file, run the game.

What we have done? We have changed our layer name to white-listed layer name of RenderDoc software. This software is used by game developers and probably you will not have it and no conflict is expected.

Other crosshair programs offer a single style or color option, and often don’t allow you to reposition them. CrossOver is a small, unintrusive crosshair overlay which has plenty of configuration options to assist with aiming and vision of your crosshair. CrossOver offers a huge improvement to many games’ default crosshairs for those with colorblindness or contrast issues.

«CrossOver» cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.
The AppImage needs to be made executable after download.

Position: Click and drag the crosshair to anywhere on any screen. Double-click the bullseye to center the app.
Choose Crosshair: Click the bullseye ◎ to select from tons of preloaded crosshairs. Drag an image to the window to use your own custom crosshair.
Customize settings using the «gear» icon. See Settings below.
Default Keyboard Shortcuts
Linux: Some distributions do not center on double-click.
Choose from over 100 real and fictional crosshairs, or use your own by dragging an image to the window. You can change the size and opacity.
The reticle is the small dot or cross at the center of the sight. You can select the shape and the color, or this can be turned off.
Choose a mouse button to use as your ADS button. The crosshair will be hidden while this button is held down.
A handful of users have reported FPS issues with certain games (#70), CrossOver should not add any FPS or latency so if you experience it, toggle this setting on or off and disable Hide on ADS
You can automatically set CrossOver to start when your system starts on your gaming PC, so you’re always ready to pop heads.
By default CrossOver will automatically keep itself updated with bug fixes and improvements. You can disable this in the settings to prevent all network requests. CrossOver will only connect to GitHub to download published releases and does not send or store any personal data. I’m a solo developer and you aren’t important to me 🙂 I just want to game.
See default keyboard shortcuts. All of the keybinds can be changed or disabled except for the bind to reset all settings. Click into the input and press your bind, or press Backspace or Delete to disable a bind.
Keep in mind that keybinds may conflict with other programs so be careful about what you choose. There’s no real mechanism for preventing you from setting two conflicting keyinds within the app, so don’t do that.
Duplicate crosshair windows use the same settings as the main window and do not support all of the features of the main window. Settings for duplicate crosshairs will not be saved and all duplicate windows will be closed if the main window is closed. Duplicate crosshairs cannot follow the mouse.

Built with Electron. Simple HTML and Javascript, no framework.
You will need node.js v14.4.X installed. If you have nvm installed, run nvm use to switch to the correct node version.

If you absolutely need to use Fullscreen mode, or your game is not supported by crossover, there is a workaround using AutoHotKey.

Install AutoHotKey and run this script with it (save it as script.ahk and double-click it):
Once in-game, pressing space should put the crosshair over the screen, even in fullscreen mode.
Graphical issues on Linux
Check your desktop environment. CrossOver may not work on KDE, try GNOME if you experience issues.
