The FNF Tord mod has taken everyone by surprise and became way more popular than some of you were probably expecting, and if you loved playing it, we’re sure you will love it even more than right now we get to share with you the game called Friday Night Funkin VS Tord Remastered, which is an HD version of the original game, where Tord, BF, GF, and all the other characters, the background, and everything else looks a hundred times better!
A quick recap on Tord from FNF:
Tord is an original character coming from the Eddsword animated internet series, a man with a red hoodie and a plaster on his face, who can also turn into a robot at times, with him having started off as a good guy and ended up a villain in the show. Norway and Tordbot are his two main custom songs you will duel him on.

VS Tord Remastered FULL WEEK (FNF MOD) – Download (Friday Night Funkin’)
VS Tord FNF MOD (Remastered), for Friday Night Funkin’, allows us to face Tord and Tordbot in a new week in the game, with some graphical improvements over the original version of the MOD. Downloading and installing this MOD will allow you to enjoy one of the most impressive opponents ever to appear in FNF: Tordbot.
In the first song of the MOD we will face Tord, while in the second we will go on to face the giant TordBot. One of the details that stand out the most in this MOD are its charts, which are really complicated and place it among the most complicated that exist. The VS TordBot confrontation is not yet finished, but it already offers us an opponent of dimensions never seen before (which produce big problems in the game camera, and it is what they should correct in future updates).
This new version of VS Tord Remastered offers us a great improvement in the Skin of Tord, and promises to correct the second confrontation of the week in future updates. This version will be from now on the most recommended version to enjoy VS Tord MOD (it already has its own executable and does not need to be installed).
New update v1.4 – Tordbot is now available in the second song of the week, which has been fixed to be playable. There are still some things to be polished and the MOD will have future improvements. You can watch the full showdown in the following video.

Unlike most character mods, though—like V.S. Tabi and Hatsune Miku—there’s no story here. You just immediately start the battle against the new enemy and there are no cutscenes to explain his connection to the canon story. This wasn’t fixed in the remastered version either.

Friday Night Funkin’ is a 2020 free open-source rhythm game developed by ninjamuffin99 for Ludum Dare 47. The game has you fending off obstacles to your date with the power of rap battles. Thus, you need to hit as many of the arrows as possible to achieve a high score—or just simply survive until the end of the round. Due to the game’s open-source code, numerous mods were made for it.
One of these is Vs Tord, which introduces the character Tord from Eddsworld as a new opponent for Boyfriend. In the webtoon, he was originally a part of the main cast but returned as an antagonist in the later arcs. Here, he comes with two new songs, as well as a second form that relates to his character. However, there’s absolutely no explanation for his appearance in FNF.
The mod’s developer had made this for about 5 hours to celebrate Eddsworld Day so there’s not much content available. Even the remastered version created by Jason The Art Kid did not add any storyline or cutscene to justify Tord’s existence in the game’s lore. The songs are still challenging, however—with the second one being one of the fastest songs compared to other mods.
