Colossus is a pre-hardmode boss that is associated with the granite biome. He is intended to be fought after the Eye of Cthulu, but before a goblin army.

Summoning [ ]

To summon Colossus, use the Granite Anomaly at any time in any biome. The Granite Anomaly is made by using 3 File:Blue Energy Gem.png Blue Energy Gems and 30 Granite Blocks at a demon altar. Energy gems are dropped by granite mobs from the exodus mod, such as the Granite Slime, Granite Bat and Spiked Granite Elemental.

Boss behavior [ ]

Colossus himself is kind of a pushover. He will occasionnally fire high damage lasers, but these move at a slow pace and are reasonably easy to dodge. The lasers occasionally inflict the player with the ‘Stoned’ effect, so try to avoid it all costs if you don’t want to get overrun by monsters. Speaking of monsters, most of Colossus’ fight will be spent dealing with his many summons, during the battle he will spawn a plethora of granite mobs such as the aformentioned Granite Head, Granite Slime, Granite Bat and Spiked Granite Elemental, as well as some vanilla mobs such as the granite elemental and granite golem.

Making a large platform above Colossus and using ranged weapons is one of the easiest ways to quickly defeat him since he does not seem to have any movement abilities. Try not to get overrun by his flying summons though.

Colossus’ minions still drop items when killed, this means that if the player died against him, or wants a specific item from him, they can make the summoning item again and again by solely using the loot from the fight.

When defeated, Colossus will drop some Energized bars which can be used to make a variety of equipment such as :

-An upgraded version of the granite set (which is for magic users)

-The scepter of rainfall which is used to toggle rain

-The granite reflector (EXPERT) which gives the player 6 defense and either gives you more thrown damage when you or your enemies have less health (OR) throws damage to your enemies depending on how low your health is

Mounts

Mounts are creatures or objects that act as vehicles that a player can use for transportation or dealing damage. When a mount-summoning item is used, it applies an unlimited buff to the player, spawns the mount, and places the player on or in it. Mount movement can be controlled using the player’s usual movement keys. Like Pets and Minions, mounts can be used limitlessly, and their summoning items are not consumed. Only one Mount can be in effect at a time. Mounts will unequip automatically when you die.

Mounts are affected by armor set Bonus effects, e.g., if riding a unicorn with full hallowed armor, the unicorn will have a pulsing outline (however, some dyes such as the Hades dyes can make this hard to spot).

Weapons and tools (as well as any other item, except Hooks) can be used while riding a Mount.

All mount items can be placed in the mount slot and can be Dyed. Equipping a mount provides a short burst of light.

There are currently 17 Mounts added by the Exodus mod, each with varying abilities and movement statistics.

Mounts cannot have any prefixes or be reforged.
