Проблемы с установкой DAEMON Tools
daemon tools не устанавливается? Зачастую, после удаления DAEMON Tools, установить более новую версию становится невозможным.
Это происходит из-за того, что DAEMON Tools не был удален полностью, а если при последней установке этой программы были ошибки, то однозначно в системе остались драйвера виртуальных устройств, записи в реестре и другой мусор, который не даёт переустановить программу.
Ошибки могут быть разные, но лечатся они одним путем – полным удалением DT и тщательной отчисткой от него Windows.
Вариантов развития сценария у нас два.
Вариант первый — DAEMON Tools еще как-то работает.
1.1. Щелкаем по значку в трее (место рядом с часами).
1.2. Выбираем пункт «Виртуальный CD\DVD ROM» (Virtual CD\DVD ROM)
1.3. Выбираем виртуальный привод и в контекстном меню привода удалить (Set number of devices далее Disable).
2. Щелкаем по значку в трее (место рядом с часами).
2.1 Пункт «Эмуляция» — выключить все (Emulation – All options OFF).
Если не получается, нужно удалить все виртуальные устройства вручную, через диспетчер устройств.
Для этого открываем «Диспетчер устройств» (пуск – панель управления – система — оборудование – диспетчер устройств или правой кнопкой мыши по значку мой компьютер – свойства – вкладка оборудование – диспетчер устройств).
В диспетчере устройств выбираем пункт DVD и CD-ROM дисководы.
Найти и удалить в этом пункте все устройства, имена которых заканчиваются на SCSI CdRom Device
Если в системе есть другие эмуляторы, хотя и не рекомендуется устанавливать несколько эмуляторов вместе, проверьте, что удаляете CdRom Device именно от DAEMON Tools.
Для этого щелкаем правой кнопкой мыши на значке DT в трее – Виртуальный CD\DVD ROM и для каждого устройства смотрим его имя – «Установить параметры устройства» — Поля «Производитель» «Модель» (Virtual CD\DVD ROM – DEVICE № — Set device parameters). Оно должно совпадать с именами в диспетчере устройств.
3.Удаляем DAEMON Tools обычным методом.
Для этого открываем меню «Установка и удаление программ» (Пуск – Панель управления — Установка и удаление программ), найти DT и нажать кнопку удалить. Либо через главное меню (Пуск – все программы — DAEMON Tools — Uninstall). Или через стороннюю программу удаления (Uninstall Tool или аналогичную).
4. Почистить реестр вручную (как это делать, можно посмотреть тут), или любой программой, в которой есть поиск по реестру.
5. Перезагрузить компьютер.
Если раньше стояла другая версия программы, можно попробовать установить ее по новой, а затем его удалить стандартным путем. Если в процессе установки будет обнаружена установленная версия DAEMON Tools, ее можно будет сразу же удалить с помощью установщика ( в появившемся окне выбрать пункт «Удалить» или «Uninstall»).
Если проблема не устраняется описанным выше методом, переходим ко второму варианту.
Повторяем первый пункт, и переходим сразу к 6.
Вариант 2 — Удаление DAEMON Tools в ручную.
1. Удаляем папку установки DAEMON Tools по умолчанию это — C:\Program Files\DAEMON Tools Pro (одним словом папка куда Вы ставили DT)
2. Очищаем папки: C:\WINDOWS\TEMP, C:\Documents and Settings\имя пользователя\Local Settings\Temp,
3. удалите папку DAEMON Tools по этому пути C:\Documents and Settings\ имя пользователя \Application Data\DAEMON Tools Pro
4. Еще раз проверьте, что все виртуальные приводы DT удалены (пункт №1 первого варианта).
5. Откройте папку C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers и удалите файлы драйверов виртуальных устройств (они могут называться так: d347bus.sys, d347prt.sys, dtscsi.sys, up55bus.sys, up55prt.sys, st77bus.sys, st77prt.sys). На всякий случай сделайте резервную копию.
6. Откройте «Диспетчер устройств» — «Системные устройства».
Пуск – панель управления – система — оборудование – диспетчер устройств или провой кнопкой мыши по значку мой компьютер – свойства – вкладка оборудование – диспетчер устройств.
Удалите драйвер Plug and Play Bios Extension (имя файла драйвера может быть vax347.sys, vax347p.sys).
7. Почистить реестр вручную (как это делать, можно посмотреть тут), или любой программой, в которой есть поиск по реестру.
Удаление драйвера SPTD.
Процесс далеко не самый простой, но вполне реальный. Все описанные действия проводятся в безопасном режиме.
1. Перезагружаем компьютер, как только началась загрузка (самый первый экран), быстро нажимаем F8 много раз. Когда появится экран выбора загрузки, выбираем «Безопасный режим» и загружаемся в нем. Как только в нижней части экрана появится сообщение: «Press ESC to cancel loading SPTD.Sys», нажмите клавишу ESC, для отмены загрузки. Это нужно сделать, чтобы система дала нам удалить этот драйвер.
2. Откройте редактор реестра и в нем найдите HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services
и удалите раздел sptd.Удалите ветку HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\LEGACY_SPTD.
Для удаления этих веток нужно иметь права администратора.
3. Если не получается удалить sptd, скачайте чистый дистрибутив sptd версии 1.50 и выше (файл для установки), положите его на системный диск (по умолчания С:\).
4. Загрузитесь в безопасном режиме.
5. Откройте меню Пуск – выполнить. В открывшемся окне введите C:\sptdinst_x86.exe remove и нажмите ОК (sptdinst_x86.exe – это название установочного файла, который Вы скачивали в пункте №3, оно может быть другим).
6. Перезагрузитесь в нормальный режим.
7. Почистить реестр вручную (как это делать, можно посмотреть тут), или любой программой, в которой есть поиск по реестру.
Теперь DAEMON Tools должен быть полностью удален и проблем с установкой и работой не должно возникнуть.

I ran into weird problem with update KB3033929.
I am running Windows 7 Pro 64 SP1. I tried to install Studio 7 (by Microchip, but it’s Atmel product; Microchip bought Atmel relatively recently). During installation Studio 7 checks for certain Windows updates installed in the system; it informed me that KB3033929 had supposedly never been installed, and quit.
I downloaded the update from Microsoft web site (file Windows6.1-KB3033929-x64.msu), ran it, and got the message that the update had already been installed on my machine.
I invoked Programs an Features, and tried to find KB3033929 in the list of installed updated. It was *not* listed there.
From command window I ran wusa /uninstall /kb:3033929, and got a message that the update was *not* installed on the computer.
At this point I am not sure what to do next. If KB3033929 was indeed installed on my system, I need to make it visible. It it was not, I had to install it somehow so Studio 7 installer can find it and finish installation.
I would truly appreciate helping me solve this issue.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, you missed my point. Maybe I was not clear enough in my post. Let me restate my question.
The issue is not with not having KB3033929 installed. The issue is that the system cannot detect KB3033929 which should have been previously installed, thus preventing me from uninstalling it and reinstalling it. At the same time, an attempt to install KB3033929 ends up with failure, because installer states it has already been installed.
1. Attempt to install KB3033929 from the file downloaded from Microsoft web site (i.e., the link you kindly provided in your post) ends up with a message that the KB3033929 has already been installed.
2. Programs and Features does not list KB3033929 in the list of updates.
3. wmic qfe | find «KB3033929» does not list the KB3033929.
4. KB3033929 can be a part of cumulative update KB3172605. All attempts to locate this update in the list of installed updates failed as well.
5. Finally, a brute attempt to uninstall KB3033929 (in order to reinstall it later and have it registered this time) using wusa /uninstall /kb:3033929 failed too. wusa could not locate KB3033929.
In the meantime I found a work around my primary problem. It turned out that that Studio 7 has an installation option allowing for treating not found updated as warning rather than errors. Using this option allowed me to proceed with installation process and finish it.
That said, I would really want to find out what’s going on with KB3033929, and whether it really was installed or not.
Any suggestions how to do it would be greatly appreciated.

Это связано с тем, что MS заменил старые апдейты на новые (т.е. в обновление KBXXXXXXX.msu уже входит Windows6.1-KB3033929-x64.msu).
Решение: используем утилиту dism.exe.
Запускаем командную строку от имени Администратора
1. распаковываем *.msu: Windows6.1-KB3033929-x64.msu /extract
2. пареходим в директорию куда распаковалось обновление: cd C:\Windows6.1-KB3033929-x64\
3. принудительно устанавливаем обновление: dism.exe /online /add-package /packagepath:C:\Windows6.1-KB3033929-x64\Windows6.1-KB3033929-x64.cab
Если вы не можете найти в интернете вышеуказанные обновления (вас забанили в Google, а Yandex заблокирован «РосКомНадзором), то можете обновления забрать из временной папки, которая появляется при установки ODIS: «C:\Temp\ODIS\FirstPatches\»
Если вы уверены что обновления уже установлены, или не хотите их устанавливать, а инсталлер ODIS ругается на это,
можно подправить конфиг установщика.
При первом запуске инсталлятора,
до момента сообщения об отсутствии обновления,
на диске «C:» присутствует временная папка «C:\Temp\ODIS\FirstPatches\», в которой лежит файл PATCH_FIRST.bat.

KB3033929 fails to install and cause a minor «infinite» loop
I’m having problems with the KB3033929 update from the latest run of Tuesday patches. After installation the PC reboots, but during the boot up configuration of the patch it fails and Windows starts reverting the configuration and reboots. And then it starts all over again a couple of times until it eventually boot into Windows. I looked into Windows’ setup logs and found the following:
— A reboot is necessary before package KB3033929 can be changed to the Installed state.
— Package KB3033929 failed to be changed to the Installed state. Status: 0x80004005.
— Initiating changes for package KB3033929. Current state is Invalid Installed. Target state is Staged. Client id: WindowsUpdateAgent.
— Package KB3033929 was successfully changed to the Staged state.

I’m having the same problem. The Update KB3033929 fails to configure on reboot. My log shows that KB3035131 was successfully installed yesterday, and it is listed in the log before KB3033929. Since installation in October 2014, and until today, no updates have failed or been skipped for any reason.
I believe I had the exact same problem on the same machine with the previous update KB2949927 mentioned in the KB3033929 advisory last October. In October I found I had to reinstall Windows and all application software on that machine to finally install KB2949927. It gives me no joy to learn from the KB3033929 Advisory that Microsoft has apparently not found the installation problem and chose to release a similar broken update a second time.
While it is probable that major governments and some major corporations can dedicate the resources necessary to break SHA-1, that’s probably not the weakest point in the security infrastructure of Microsoft Windows. I suggest that the SHA-2 authentication of downloaded programs supported by KB3033929 can wait until this installation problem is found.
I respectfully request that Microsoft once again rescind the update, and correct the problem before releasing a similar update a third time. If Microsoft needs a customer to help isolate the specific problem, I would be willing to spend the time necessary to get it done.
My machine is a 6-core Windows 7 Ultimate workstation running a rather diverse collection of applications.
